Spatial statistics · Bayesian modeling · Statistics education
I am a statistics PhD student at North Carolina State University working in spatial statistics and Bayesian modeling for public health, with a strong commitment to undergraduate statistics education.

Academic work
Research
I develop and apply Bayesian spatial modeling methods for public health applications, with interests in causal inference and statistical methodology.
Teaching
I teach introductory statistics and focus on helping students build statistical intuition, interpret uncertainty, and connect methods to real data.
Computing & projects
I use R, reproducible workflows, simulation, and interactive tools to support both research and teaching.
About Me
I’m currently a third-year PhD Student at North Carolina State University. I began my training in statistics at The Ohio State University, where in earned my B.S. with honors, majoring in Statistics and minoring in Computer Science.
Here at NC State, I am advised in my research by Dr. Brian Reich. I am also a part of the UQ4Life Research Training Group, which is an NSF funded program in training students in uncertainty quantification. In terms of teaching here at NC State, I most recently taught our department’s introductory course in statistical methods in the Spring.
Outside of my studies, I serve on the Advisory Board of College Club Swimming as a regional championship liaison. I’ve enjoyed my time working with athletes and clubs across the country over the past three years and look forward to helping host our regional championship meets this year.
